The Adoration

2021 My first large painting, 1M square. Exciting and a little scary at that time. I began with the light blue which has always reminded me of my mother. Then black, for contrast, my always favourite. The 'wash' effect happened by chance, as I sprayed and tilted the canvas, this way and that, catching the flow and creating beautiful effects. The stories followed easily. A very satisfying experience all round.
